Mitch Berens Signs First Professional Contract

The Meaford Knights are proud to announce that former Knight Mitch Berens has signed his first professional hockey contract with the Danbury Hat Tricks of the Federal Prospects Hockey League (FPHL).

Berens was a key member of the Knights during his time in Meaford, bringing a strong work ethic, leadership, and consistent play every time he stepped on the ice. Known for his determination and team-first mentality, Mitch quickly became a player that teammates, coaches, and fans could rely on in all situations.

Throughout his time with the Knights, Berens demonstrated the type of dedication and commitment that defines the culture of our organization. His progression from junior hockey to the professional ranks is a testament to the hard work he has put in both on and off the ice.
